Don't You Dare Quit!
"No matter who you are, where you come from or how much you have, You best believe that challenges and opposition will meet you right where you are".
I know for some of you that is reading this right now it has been very difficult for you. You have been forced to make decisions that you really didn’t want to make. You have been in an uncomfortable living situation and it seems like help is so far away for you, I want you to know that this is not the end of your story. Help is on the way. God has not forgotten about you. You see you have to remember that the darkest hour of the night is right before day breaks.
Our trials and tribulations come to make us stronger and there is a far greater plan for your life than what you are experiencing right now. You have to push to be able to cross over to the other side. Although the storms has come they will not destroy you. I am reminded of a very familiar passage of scripture in the book of St. Mark chapter 4 when Jesus spoke to the disciples and said let us crossover to the other side.
When he spoke this there was no storm. But after they got in the boat preparing to cross over a storm came. It wasn’t just a spiritual storm but it was a natural storm. The water from the storm was so intense that the bible says the boat became full. The disciples became fearful. But when Jesus rose to the occasion he spoke three words PEACE BE STILL. You see when the troubles of life are pressing up against you and it feels like you are full of distress you must release the words of Jesus PEACE BE STILL. Yes whenever we release the word of God we see our lives changed forever. So I say to you woman of God, man of God Don’t you dare quit! Stay focused on what matters most. Stay focused on what God has called you to do. Don’t be moved by what you see. Stand on the word of God and watch it come to past. PEACE BE STILL!
